60 years old with a 29 year old lover? I'm noticing a lot of these age gap relationships recently, like the surfer lady who was 25 and married to a 60 year old man. Also Ran and Kazuha's outfits kinda matching is super cute (｡●́‿●̀｡)

You can see the same for most characters in this franchise.I’m like shinichi’s mom married with his father yet there different age

Actually that's not really correct? Like, at all? Shinichi's parents are the exact same age, Yukiko just looks younger. Any other relationships, such as Ran and Shinichi, Yumi and Shukichi, even Akemi and Shuichi were the exact same age when they dated, before she died. Literally the only relationships in the series where the couple are even one year apart in age are the couples who only show up in these weekly filler cases?

What about inspector megure and his wife for example especially with hearing a backstory like story

What about chiba and naeko

Chiba and Naeko were literally in the same grade, that was the whole point of their backstory, that they went to school together and they're both 24 now. Megure is the only character I couldn't find an exact age for but he's said to be in his early 40's while his wife is 38, and we know she was still in high school when he first started working for the police so she's hardly more than 4 or 5 years younger than him, but that's about the only couple you're correct about, even if it's still not a real age-gap. When I pointed out the age-gaps in filler episode couples, I meant couples who were anywhere from 10 to 30+ years older than each other, so I wouldn't really count a 4 year gap, nevermind the fact that every other couple is literally the exact same age
